School Improvement Plan

Schoowide Goals

  • Goal 1: By 2026, 60% of students in grades K-2 will perform at or above grade level in Reading and Math as identified on their EOY iReady diagnostic assessment.
  • Goal 2: By 2026, our goal is to decrease the percentage of students scoring one or more grade levels below on their end-of-year iReady Diagnostic in Reading by 20% and in Mathematics by 15%. 
  • Goal 3: With fidelity, the ERR Team will implement the relevant, systematic processes and procedures provided by the district, aimed at improving teachers' performance and attendance to ensure all students receive a high-quality education. 
  • Goal 4: Eulalie Rivera PreK-8 School aims to build stronger community relationships by forming partnerships with stakeholders to foster and enrich home, school, and community connections. Through these efforts, stakeholders work together to promote positive behavior and responsible emotional responses, improving academic performance and student attendance. Therefore, our goal is to increase the number of school-wide events and meetings and stakeholder participation in these activities by 10% each year, as evidenced by attendance sheets and survey data collected throughout the school years.

Strategy 1: Effective Practice: Real-World Curriculum – Schools provide well-rounded, relevant educational experiences to all students

S-P1.S1.04 Instructional data teams review the results of unit pre-/post-tests to make decisions about the curriculum and instructional plans and to identify students in need of intervention and enrichment (both students in need of tutoring or extra help and students needing enhanced learning opportunities because of their early mastery of objectives).

Priority 2: Effective Education System

Strategy 2: Effective Practice: Systems for Accountability—There is a culture of accountability that informs our work, supports, and interventions

S-P2.S2.01: The principal spends at least 50% of his/her time working directly with teachers to improve instruction, including classroom observations.

Priority 3: Stakeholder Engagement

Strategy 2: Effective Practice: Communication—Families are authentic partners in the operations, teaching and learning aspects of the education system.

S-P3.S2.01 The school Leadership Team provides ongoing mechanisms for families and the community to be meaningfully engaged in decisions that impact school improvement and school environment.
